When Spacecraft needed a grab bag to help launch their new look, we knew we didn’t want the average promo bag. Instead, we designed and worked with a local tailor to create a limited edition tote. It has been successful enough that we’ve had to re-order twice. Worn canvas and soft leather straps gives the tote the lived-in feel. Reminiscent of your favorite wallet or old pair of shoes that you can’t bear to part with, this bag harkens back to an era when things were manufactured for a function. Return to the classics, see Spacecraft’s new look here. www.spacecraftcollective.com

Underground is an award winning liquor (San Francisco World Spirits Competition Double Gold Winner, 2010), and is often favored over it’s closely contested brother, Jagermeister. To help display their quality product, Process was brought in to help find the perfect bottling solution. From molding and shaping glass to setting up an overseas volume production facility, Underground takes shape and can be found in your local liquor store.

For the launch of Nixon headphones at Apple retail, a request was made to showcase the product through a product window. Showcasing the product holds some problems of its own from loose wires to security in shipping. Using 3D SolidWorks files, Process designers molded the packaging as we would mold product, a very cumbersome process. The finished product is a interior casing custom molded to house everything from the EVA case down to the wire channels.

The end result from the development process is custom molded packaging combined with handmade packaging and a first in packaging design.

Check out some more product on Nixon’s horizon, beyond headphones. It’s sure to be ground-breaking audio innovation.

Process pushes the envelope with the launch of Dragons newest goggle, APX. When you have a product that pushes boundaries, its packaging better live up to the same standards. Dragon’s new APX snow goggle redefines the term peripheral vision, so when Process got involved with package concepting, design, and manufacturing, we wanted to make sure it was as eye opening as it’s contents. The solution? A bombproof zipper EVA case, and sturdy slip-fit hand made casing, keeping the goggles in prime condition for the end consumer.

Simple, premium, and classic in every way. Process and Dragon Optics deliver the next evolution in Goggle design and packaging.

For the Fall 2011 catalog, we looked for an quick solution for design, layout, and print. With manufacturing prototypes incomplete, and a deadline looming, we moved to photoshop, and constructed a catalog using FPO product and Cads. Pushing from studio photo shoots in 3 days, to design and layout in 4 days, and printing and binding in 4 days, a full catalog from start to finished was produced in under 2 weeks. spacecraftcollective.com

Process would also like to say thanks to Jonas Lea, who was kind enough to sub in during a trip to Salt Lake as “the cool guy with tattoos” for the photo shoot. Catalog photos by Nate Christensen.

We love our Frends, and they love us. The challenge was brought to us by Keir Dillon and EK to develop a new packaging concept derived from Eco friendly materials such as PLA, PET, recyclable cardboard and other renewable materials. Made from fully recycled ingredients this packaging showcases some of the latest production capabilities out of our state of the art China facilities. Using their newest equipment and machinery delivered from Germany, we reverse engineered the packaging to the machines capabilities, pushing the limits, and in turn the possibilities.

The finished product consists of molded corrugated cardboard, di-cut to suspend the headphones while showing 50% of the product. Cable and mic insert channels hold molded PET inserts for snap in functionality. Hidden cord compartments within layers of corrugated cardboard, and a clear exterior sleeve with wrapped label identify each color and product within the packaging. The packaging allows the consumer a 180 degree view of the product while encompassing the brand, Frends.

Check them out at wearefrends.com

Process never wants you to be sneaky with your “soda”? But you can be understated with this matte black finish flask and canteen from Analog. We originally initiated this combo package as a Rep and Retailer promo for industry hype and conversation. However, it was such a hit that Analog came back to Process and requested a large scale, mass-production/inline distriution solution. At that time, our overseas factory selection did not have high volume capabilities, however where there is a need, there is a solution.

Shifting to scalable manufacturing techniques to bring down pricing, and integrating a factory with scalability to meet the demands of a global product launch, Process added a few very hot items to the Analog lineup.

Add in some clean signage to the flask and canteen, and you have a nice little package. We’ll take care of the logistics so you can have a good time.

Gourmet dinner, full length concert and show, and dancing. Could life possibly get any better? Process Agency teamed up with Pacific Swing Hawaii to create a historic visual “remember when” that resonates with Big Band era period of bold type, lively photography, and fun! Next time you and your wahine are in Hawaii be sure to stop by the Pink Palace at the historic Royal Hawaiian to enjoy the show.

Just when you think things have gotten somewhat normal the guys from Frends show up and ask you to design their new website / blog. The only two directions they give us: “Nothing should look typical” and” use cardboard.” The outcome, of course, is like something straight out of a Laurel and Hardy movie…a little chaos peppered with some sheer enjoyment.

Process was called upon to unify the visual presence of Global Artisans, a division of the Utah Refugee Pathways to Self Sufficiency that aids Refugees located in Utah. Global Artisans provides the equipment and exposure to help them become self sufficient through the selling of their products. Process jumped at the chance to aid the community in helping market the beautifully constructed hand-crafted products made by these international artists. Hang tags have been custom designed with a special area designated for the Refugee artisans to individualize and personally sign each hand-made item. New packaging, fabric hangtags, custom buttons, ribbon accents and large format banners have all been created to be hung in boutiques, with the emphasis always placed on the individual artisan.

You order a pizza and it shows up at your front door, imagine if you could do the same with an airplane? Process didn’t developed the “we deliver your airplane to your door” idea, we just branded, packaged and delivered, the CB Aviation concept. From brand development to brand storyboarding, Process helped CB Aviation showcase their talents and assets through imagery, a website, and of coarse the overall branding.

With a few million dollars, you can experience the service CB has to offer. For the rest of you without the few extra millions, you can check out the website we executed instead.

So what exactly is involved with delivering an airplane? You can soon find out by watching their new reality TV show, Air Devils, debuting this summer. We’ll be starting on the branding of that project shortly. We are still waiting for our own Process Agency private jet.
