Process is always up for a challenge, and renegade headphone maverick, Skullcandy out of Park City, Utah gave us a doosey: design an innovative new point of purchase system to suit participating retailers on both the national and global scale. With US Design, China Ground team Sourcing and Manufacturing, Process’s full team is on board.
To jumpstart things, we dove headfirst into a market research survey, and questioned a sampling of retailers from coast to coast. Our research provided us with some interesting feedback which we used as fuel for the ‘idea fire’. From there, it was game on. We filtered, refined, and tested various concepts, each unique and with an individual twist to set the Skullcandy brand apart from the rest. We pitched our concepts to the Skullcandy team, and with each presentation Process upped the ante with new and fresh ideas which we are currently testing with various materials and manufacturing processes in CHINA.
